It looks like Israel has won the emotional war against Muslims. I would NEVER have believed any sane mind could have come to such an asinine and Islamophobic conclusion as this story shows.
If wearing the Shehada as a headband can cause so much distress to Jews that is becomes a criminal offense, then surely wearing a Star of David would also be a criminal offense because of the trauma it would cause to millions of Palestinians!!!??
Below is a link to the story as reported by the British Daily Mail. Of course, one of the illustrations they chose to show is of an armed Palestinian in GAZA, wearing the Shehada headband. Talk about subliminal messaging!
They could have shown the eBay items showing the Shehada headband for sale, or the Etsy site showing a Shehada headband but no, obviously, a gunman in GAZA was more appropriate!
In a demonstration against the Gaza genocide, a (non-White of course!) man wore a headband that had the Islamic Affirmation (Shehada) on it; “la ilaha Il Allah Mohammed Rasul Allah” (There is no god but one God and Mohammed is his prophet”). He was promptly ARRESTED by the Police as showing support for the “TRRRST organization “HAMAS!”.
Unbelievably, the judge found him guilty of intimidating Jews and supporting Hamas!
The Judge said, “Hamas is the most notable Palestinian group associated with the colour green…” (REALLY???) and…
“I am satisfied so I am sure that the defendant wore an item of clothing, a green headband in such circumstances to arouse reasonable suspicion that he was a supporter of a proscribed terrorist organisation, namely Hamas” and..
“‘…I do find that the harm is serious and I have to agree that the nature of the offence when it happened, soon after the incident of 7 October, would have made significant distress to those who were observing the demonstration”
What kind of manipulatable, servile, idiotic and unthinking people does Britain have a Judges???
How can anyone twist a holy symbol into a representation of something bad (It’s bad enough that “HAMAS!” is deemed a “TRRRST organization by so many of the oh-so civilized nations in the West)?

Muslims had better walk careful; don’t wear green, don’t wear a T-shirt with a watermelon on it and don’t say, “Palestine” except with “Kill them all!” afterwards. Otherwise, you are supporting terrorists and causing great grief to Jews. If you are non-White, don’t “look like a Muzlem“.

The ICJ Decision
There are 15 judges on the International Court of Justice where the case for Genocide is being presented by South Africa against Israel.
I am pretty certain the following will be the order of how the judges vote on the case of Israel committing genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza:
AGAINST the case of Genocide is sure to be a party line vote:
1. USA 2. Germany 3. India 4. France
Uncertain about:
1. Japan, 2. Australia 3. Jamaica 5. Slovakia
Reasonable to believe the following WILL vote that Israel IS committing genocide against the Palestinians:
1. China 2 Lebanon 3. Brazil 4. Uganda 5. Somalia 6. Morocco
& 7. Russia
Either side needs 8 votes to win.
If Israel wins the argument, then there will no longer be a case where a future ICCJ can determine whether or not genocide is ever committed.
Plus, Israel will be free to wipe out every single Palestinian without ANY country being able to make a statement against Israel on a moral basis; the Dark Side will prevail.
What next? Will India be able to “defend its right to exist” by executing a genocide against its Muslim populations?
Maybe wipe out the Kashmiri Muslims?
Israel-Gaza. Partisans Gone Crazy
The October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas and other groups brought into sharp focus, the latent bias that the Western world harbors against Arab, Muslims and Palestinians (Christian and Muslim) in particular, in stark contrast with the fawning, blind, loyalty they show for Israel.
Israel/Palestine History began on October 7th , indeed that attack was ferocious and killed a about 1400 Israeli Jews and over 200 prisoners were also taken, a shocking and horrible event.
But Day One of History starts on October 7th. History is not allowed to look back. No, this horrible, terrible, bloodthirsty event MUST be look upon as it stands, any attempt to look at pages of earlier history attracts severe criticism, people say it betrays Anti-Semitism, a hate for Jews and is viewed as seeking justification for the massacre. Searching for causes of a tragedy however, is by no means, seeking justification of the tragedy; If a man killed his wife and we find it was because she was leaving him for another man, we have found the CAUSE but it can never be used to justify the murder.
Unfortunately, the blindly pro-Israel sentiments have been cultivated to such an extent that it would appear there is no reality other than one strictly favoring Israel. So much so, that even a dislike for what Israel is doing, in equated with Anti-Semitism, followed by swift condemnations and punishment. After the October 7 attack, Western countries lined up in full support for Israel, Weapons flooded into Israel faster than it could use them, particularly from the US. Other European countries such as Germany, accelerated their weapons deliveries to Israel by ten-fold as Israel began to use US-provided bombs and missiles in Gaza, heavily and indiscriminately. In one week alone, Israel dropped more US bombs on the people of Gaza than the US had dropped in a year in Afghanistan. Palestinian death toll shot up; in the first month, Israel had killed over ten thousand people, almost half of them children. President Biden continues to rush massive supplies of bombs and missiles to Israel and has said he fully supports whatever Israel does to “defend” itself. But when the protests against Israel’s carnage grew, he mildly asked Israel to “pause” the bombing to allow some essential supplies. What does “a Pause” mean? Stop the bombing for a short time in order to allow a few trucks of food and band aids and then restart the slaughter?
European countries began pronouncing punishments for people who demonstrate in support for Palestinians, show Palestinian colors or wear a Palestinian Keffiyeh. Punishments ranged from jail to revocations of citizenship (aimed at minority immigrants); Support for Palestinians is now seen as support for Hamas which is then equated to supporting “terror” At the same time, people were allowed to freely demonstrate their support for Israel and many national buildings were lit up with the blue and white flag of Israel. Israel is allowed complete Western support for the terrorism being showered on Palestinians.
Here in the US, People have lost their jobs for voicing support for Palestinians. US House Representative Rashida Tlaib was censured by a largely Republican House for showing support for Palestinians and for (correctly) saying Israel is committing a genocide of Palestinians. She herself is from the Occupied Territories; her extended family still lives there. She criticized President Joe Biden for his part in the genocide of Palestinians (the ‘G’-word is frowned upon) and used the slogan, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free”. Her critics claim this slogan is “widely seen” as calling for the extermination of Jews. While some may interpret is as a death call for Jews in Israel, the broader understanding of this term is a call for a single state where Christian and Muslim Palestinians can also share the same rights and privileges as Jews. Here the two-faced position of the US shows rather blatantly; Tlaib is being condemned for saying things that are being INTERPRETED as “anti-Semitic” while her fellow members have said clear, murderous things about Palestinians without being called out.
“Intentional or not, such a complete, blind, support for Israel combined with such total blindness towards Palestinians will provoke a lot of new hate towards Jews and fuel the Anti-Semitism that is already rampant.”
In the meantime, Governors, state legislators, members of the US House and the Senate have called for Palestinians to be exterminated and that is seen as perfectly acceptable behavior, some are showing more concern for Israel than they do for Humanity.
Intentional or not, such a complete, blind, support for Israel combined with such total blindness towards Palestinians will provoke a lot of new hate towards Jews and fuel the Anti-Semitism that is already rampant.
On May 25th, the White House announced a complete strategy including 100 new actions to combat Anti-Semitism. It took the White House another week and much pressure from Muslim interest groups, to then announce that the White House “is working on” a national strategy to combat Islamophobia. Republicans have called for the expulsion of Palestinians, never mind the constitution. Many Jews have been pushed into a state of terror, the numbers of Jews buying guns since October 7 has jumped exponentially. Thus far, one Jews accosting a pro-Palestinian demonstration was killed accidentally when he fell backwards and hit his head on the concrete. Meanwhile, hate incidents against Muslims are climbing straight up.
Muslims remain a constant target of hate; some have been beaten including one Sikh who was mistaken for a Muslim because of his turban. One female Muslim doctor was stabbed to death in Texas, One Muslim 6-year old boy was stabbed to death and his mother was severely wounded in Chicago but interestingly, the religion of the murderer has never been revealed. If a Muslim had been the attacker, the media would be shouting the fact everywhere and once again, Islam would be on trial. There is no move to recognize the fear Muslims may be feeling about random provocations and persecutions in their daily lives in America.
Israel on its part, said (for the consumption of the willingly gullible) that it is not bombing Palestinians in general, it is simply seeking to destroy Hamas. Israeli leaders said they will not let up on their attack until every last Hamas member is “destroyed”. Considering the fact the most Palestinians are sympathetic to Hamas and almost every family likely has some Hamas member related to them, this means Israelis will continue their Hitlerian “Final Solution” until either there is no living Palestinians left or, the Western world is forced by its outraged citizenry, to do an about face and stop Israel.
Israeli leaders are playing a word game using coded language, that their desperate supporters can overlook but Israelis can understand. They are using Biblical analogies of exterminating “the enemy”. From the President to the Prime Minister of Israel, to the ordinary Israeli the most frequent reference is to the Biblical command in Deuteronomy 20:16-17 when God is said to have told the Israelites: “In the cities and the nations the Lord has given you as inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes, Completely destroy them — The Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites — as the Lord your God has commanded you”.
A similar command is also given in Samuel 15 2-3 concerning the Amelekites:
“Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass”.
Israeli soldiers and civilians who hear such calls coming from their leaders and supported by the Bible, then feel no hesitation in mindless slaughter of Palestinians and this is exactly what is happening in Gaza. It has also started happening in the west Bank where Palestinians are being beaten, killed and denied access to their crops by Israeli soldiers and civilians. One local Palestinian friend told me that he returned from the West Bank just a few days before the October 7 attack. When I asked him if his extended family is safe, he told me that one of his relatives was shot by an Israeli soldier; he was just 13 years old.
Israelis are calling for the prosecution of the perpetrators of the October 7 attack, it will be a shock if both Israel AND the US do not oppose prosecution of any of the Israeli Jews who commit or direct the slaughter of Palestinians.
Remembering 9-11, How can I forget?
NEVER FORGET!
I remember 9-11 as if it happened yesterday. I came downstairs after awakening and turned on the TV like I always did. For some reason, the TV was muted as I saw the scenes. I was not wearing my contact lenses so I could not see with clarity but I saw the aircraft hit one of the towers. Still dozy, I assumed it was some special effects scene, which is what I told my wife as she came down. Then the sound got turned on, I put on my contacts and with a shock, I realized this was real; someone had hijacked aircraft and they were crashing them into buildings. With a sick feeling, I saw the buildings collapse, judging from the size of the towers, I assumed there must have been at least over ten thousand people killed in the collapsed buildings.
Then I learned that the hijackers were Muslims and their purpose was presumed to be “Islamic”. I cursed the people involved in the slaughter as I do to this day, May God hold them responsible and keep them in Hell for the horrors they perpetrated on innocent people!
A few people called me and asked what kind of response should Muslims make?
How can one respond, thoughts and prayers? It would be foolish to say anything that could mean that we, as Muslims, were collectively assuming any responsibility for the heartless, thoughtless, inhuman and definitely un-Islamic, actions of a few.
As the day unfolded, I realized that the decision to respond would ne with massive military resources and that Muslims would indeed, be held accountable.
In the, months and years that followed, the sympathy for the victims and their families transformed into concern for Muslims and fear for the Muslim families that were (and still are) being targeted as “terrorists” by the President, Congress and by all US agencies, most notably, the FBI. We were suspects and targets of unrelenting persecution. Within a year, under the direction of John Ashcroft, the US Attorney-General, the FBI had “detained” or jailed, over 14,000 Muslims in all jails…City, county, state and all.
I remember at one time there was a Congressional hearing in which Ashcroft admitted there was nothing material against the Muslims being held, but that he looked upon them “as pieces of a mosaic” and that some patterns will emerge from them. Nothing ever did, but most of the Muslims held, had their lives destroyed in the time they were “detained”, some for years, without charges or trials. They lost jobs, finances, their homes and in some cases, even their marriages.
There was mourning across the nation and across the world. In Muslim-majority countries, people marched in support of the victims and condemned the terrorist actions of the people. With tears in their eyes, Muslims were seen showing solidarity with the American victims.
In the US, there were efforts to compensate victims, memorials were built. It was as if Muslims did not exist as humans, Muslim survivors of the attacks were denied support in the face of the solidarity shown to other victims of 9-11. It was as if Muslims could not exist among the virtuous; only among the evil ones. Even newspaper cartoonists ignored Muslims as among the innocent. We were never recognized.
Radio talk shows and TV programs pivoted to focus on Muslims and Islam as the focus of all evil, even school books were re-written to show Islam and Muslims in as terrible a picture as possible. The FBI planted paid “informants” in Mosques and other Muslims communities, who were actually agents provocateurs tasked to find vulnerable, impressionable Muslims, incite and motivate them to violence so they could then be arrested by the FBI with great fanfare. A massive industry was born, with the sole goal of proving Islam and Muslims to be evil, but done disguised as “Anti-Terrorism Training”.
The nation’s Police sucked it up; there were no safe places in America to be a Muslim. Even many Churches and Synagogues got into the act, venting their hatred against Islam and Muslims by inviting self-declared “experts” on Islam AND Terrorism, to explain to their congregations why a Muslim cannot possibly be a good American. Targeting us Muslims, still remains a good source of fundraising for many of them.
Personally, I had people call me all sorts of names, “traitor” being the least of them. I was accused of being “a Sleeper-cell leader”, an “Islamist”, “Terrorist”, “Terrorist Sympathizer” and that I belonged in Gitmo. Friends turned against me, joining the accusations of being a terrorist, one threatened me with implied shooting claiming, HE was afraid for his family from me. There were other incidents where people threatened to shoot me just because I am Muslim. It became so serious that I feared someone would shoot at me while I was in the car with my kids. I was pretty sure they would miss me but I was equally certain they may injure or kill my children. I proceeded to train my 11 year-old daughter and my 7-year old son to unbuckle and fall on the van’s floor if I yelled, “Get down!”. I almost purchased a gun to protect my family then reason prevailed and I decided not to join the gun-nuts. Most Muslims went quiet, dressed more “American”, they lived in constant fear for themselves and their families, not from the local civilian, but from the agencies such as the FBI, The Police and ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). Not far behind them were other agencies, even the USDA (Department of Agriculture) got in on the Muslim-hunting game. For the same “crime”, Muslims were imprisoned for as many as 17 years, while non-Muslims doing even more, were praised for their heroic work.
The chronicles of individual attacks and humiliations to Muslims are so many that it would take books to write them. But this should suffice for now.
Today, on the 20th anniversary of 9-11, it is time to rip off the collective scab of the pain of the attacks and feel it afresh; that is the patriotic thing to do. In the meantime, one might assume that targeting of Muslims, the persecutions and the hate-industry would have finished by now, sadly, not so. Bush Jr, opened the gates and lit the fires of Islamophobic hate, making it a Across America, Anti-Semitism has been declared a hate-crime, racism against Blacks has been declared a crime but Muslims have to beg to get the Police or the FBI to recognize violence against Muslims as such. Islamophobia has yet to be even defined; it is met by an indulgent shrug.
In my own country, agencies and administration still consider me to be “The other”.
Today in America, it is a mark of patriotism to target Muslims, Obama did not move the needle down. Trump actively fueled it, generating active hate towards Blacks, Muslims and everyone from, as he termed it, “Shithole countries”. Biden has yet to show any signs that he recognizes the threat to Muslims.
US; Turning Point or, Business as usual?
Trump’s coming to power did not change America, the disease has been in the nation’s body since inception. Trump only made it acceptable to publicly display mob strength and bigotry. Thanks to major support of and by, the National Rifle Association (NRA), owning and displaying guns has become fashionably patriotic. Support from the NRA and its servile politicians, tens of millions of guns…pistols and rifles…have been sold to Americans over the past 12 years. Thanks to the NRA, all agencies in the US are prohibited from holding any kind of inventory of who owns guns or, even from digitizing the bullet signatures from guns.
FEAR. Guns have been purchased by goons and fools who believe they are in “real danger”; Whites who are terrified that “the Blacks” may be taking over the country. Ironically, some Blacks are now starting to buy weapons as well because they see how many Whites have how many guns. According to the Swiss organization, Small Arms Survey, there are about 120.5 guns per100 Americans…that was back in 2007!
FEAR is in the driver’s seat in America and has been since the slavery days. Politics is also driven by fear; politicians are forever telling their bug-eyed, fearful audiences that the end is here….unless you vote for them. We end up voting for a potential savior, not a leader. That’s how America got Trump.
FEAR is also the excuse used to hide bigotry. Police almost always say how they “feared for their lives” as they pour more than ten shots into an unarmed and sometimes, unsuspecting, victim. Black, of course.
Dangers to Society…Who? Why?
Muslims, of course, who else could be a threat to society?
“Civilized society”, of course! such as France, Germany and the US. We love to assign fault and responsibility so this article will do the same.
I suppose Muslims are “identified” as dangerous “Islamists” because we (yes, I include myself as a Muslim) can be differentiated by name, by our faith and often, by our ethnicities. Being able to identify a group is the simplistic approach many societies take, in order to negatively sort people out. Thus, Blacks in America are the most persecuted. After 9-11, MUSLIMS were the target du jour in the US. Muslims could be fairly sure they may have their bank accounts shut down, they could lose their government jobs or, be persecuted into leaving. They could also be sent to another country (“Extraordinary Rendition”) to be tortured under the guidance of the FBI. Muslims could be taken to a “Black Site“, a super-secret US military site overseas for torture or “disposal” and of course, they could be kept in jails (“Detained”) for days, weeks or even years, without charges or trials, only to be let go as “no longer a threat” by which time, their lives were destroyed. Muslims are still targeted by the FBI and many Police departments but we don’t hear of torture..not yet anyway.
Since 2001, White supremacists have gained ground in the US. These private, civilian militias, are armed with automatic weapons and even 50-mm cannon (hard to call them “guns” at that caliber). They train to fight, they move around the country, openly displaying their weapons and they challenge an unresponsive authority everywhere. They are seen “defending” borders against the (as Trump termed it) “Rapists and Murderers” from the Southern border and they are there when Muslims are being intimidated. As time went on, they have become bolder and more aggressive…with the support of the government and even Police departments. Many states that tried to shut down unhealthy operations due to COVID-19 had their captols surrounded by armed White Supremacists determined to defend their “Freedom”. In Michigan, militias moved into the legislative buildings, denying access to lawmakers and staff. More recently, waving their guns, they even tried to run a Biden campaign bus off the road.
The Governors and Police did nothing to stop them; FBI is not allowed to monitor White Supremacists.
