Anti-Muslim Hate Crimes Low, How?

Sadly, the FBI’s published list of hate incidents only proves what Muslims have known for years; that law enforcement doesn’t see a problem with anti-Muslim incidents..

I see that in 2018:

1. Anti-Arab incidents were only 82
2. Anti-Muslim were 188 (item #1 probably included in item #2) … but …
3. Anti-Jewish incidents were 835

This COULD mean there are more people hating Jews than there are people hating Muslims, it could also more likely, mean that offences against Jews are taken much more seriously than offences against Muslims. I am inclined to believe the latter because I have personally seen incidents that the local Police did not even dignify as a crime (bomb threat against Lynnwood Mosque?) so the threat was not even investigated and the FBI chief CT agent whom I knew, said it was nothing. The notorious triple-murder of three Muslim students on the East coast was minimized for the longest time, as murder because of a “Parking lot dispute” and only after national outcry, did they start to recognize it as a hate crime. I am not sure if even then, it was recorded as a hate crime. I could write a book listing anti-Muslim hate events just in one year, but this is only a brief article. I also know that Muslims have faced hate incidents but avoided reporting them because they did not wish to get the Police involved for fear the victim could get into trouble as it happened in one egregious case in Tacoma. Muslims in America live in dangerous times when our supposed protectors are our persecutors. Time and again, the Police has been found to be more interested in targeting Muslims than in treating us as equal Americans. Even respected media outlets use language that biases people against Muslims.

Countering WHITE Violent Extremism (CWVE)

White people MUST keep an eye out for radicalized Whites. White people must bear the responsibility of not turning their radicalized White people to the authorities because it is well-known that Whites know who is being radicalized and who is about to go on a terrorist spree.

White Police and FBI must also bear the responsibility for not taking action when they do find another White man who is turning to violence and radicalization. We live in a free country where we have a right to the peaceful enjoyment of life and of the pursuit of happiness but if White people, White Police and White FBI continue to allow the growth of White Violent Extremists, America will no longer be the free, democratic country we so love. White-on-White murders have reached epidemic proportions yet, neither Whites nor While law-enforcement seem to be doing anything about it. Of course the White House has cut off funding for White Supremacist organizations which gives a convenient excuse to White Law enforcement agencies to not follow violent White activities.

Should you tell the FBI even though he no longer has those plans?

What if you know that telling the FBI will only destroy the young fellow who is no longer a threat to anyone?

What if the FBI asks you if you know anyone planning to join a “Terrorist organization”?

Murders in Nice

When the Nice attack was first announce, I am sure I was joined by almost every Muslim in silent prayers that the killer would not be a Muslim but alas, he was! At today’s count, 84 people…men, women and children, were killed and over 200 injured.

 

Who even thinks of wreaking such havoc on innocent people who are out simply enjoying life? The roots of such actions are easy to track even though the answer to the “why” of such actions is much more difficult; the responsibility is shared between the US, the European countries and the Muslims living in the US and Europe, perhaps in equal measure.

FBI…”Trust us”; Manufacturing Terrorism

June 10th, 2016 New Yorker has an excellent article, “Do F.B.I. Stings Help the Fight Against ISIS?“. Tragically, such examples are almost a daily occurrence in the US today.

This is precisely what I rail against. The enforcement agencies ask us Muslims to trust them because they are here to uphold the law and to protect everyone equally; they don’t target Muslims.

 

Sure, now pull the other one.

 

The FBI has been relentless in pursuing Muslims because we are Muslims and because arresting a “Muzlem” justifies their budgets. They pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to stake a Muslim head on a pike in order that the FBI can look like heroes. The FBI trains Police and other enforcement agencies to look upon Islam and Muslims as the greatest threat to the US and to the West and this is no exaggeration.

 

Why should anyone “uphold the law”?

FBI, Police, Fusion Center and Muslims Meet

I was among the community members invited to a meeting with the Seattle Police (SPD…Chief O’Toole present), FBI and Fusion Center (FC…Director, Lt. Trowbridge present) on Tuesday the 3rd of May from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event was called, “Building Communities of Trust“, there were about six of us Muslims present, the rest were from other groups and communities. The purpose was to introduce and promote the Nationwide SAR (Suspicious Activity Reporting) Initiative also known as the NSI, among the various communities. Part of this program is also the “If you see something, say something” program.

US agencies keep telling us how they treat Muslims as no different from any other people and how they would like to “build bridges” with “The Muslim Community”, but their actions remain diametrically opposite to their rhetoric; they continue to treat Muslims and Islam as the greatest threat to the US and the West. So much so, that the FBI and other agencies actually have trainers on staff, who have trained agents on this bit of brainwashing….even as the FBI continues to tell us they have removed anti-Muslim books from their reference libraries and have stopped such training. Every time the FBI gives us this line of fiction, another expose informs us the it is anti-Muslim business as usual in the FBI and other law-enforcement agencies across the US.

Kariye is a plaintiff in a lawsuit that accuses the FBI and its Terrorist Screening Center of violating the constitutional rights of several people placed on the U.S. no-fly list.

It should not take the brains of a genius to figure out that the FBI is simply retaliating against Kariye, the Portland imam because he dared to join the lawsuit against the government’s discredited “No-Fly List”.

FBI’s War on Muslims Must End

 

Dear Director Comey,

 

For some strange reason, it appears that the FBI is focused on Muslims either as targets or, as paths to targets among Muslims in America. It appears to us that when it comes to targeting Muslims, the FBI is most dedicated in its work, but when it comes to looking after the interests of Muslims in America, the FBI is usually found leading the back of the parade.

 

Muslims are often targeted, coerced or, blackmailed into becoming “informants” who, if they don’t provide lists of suspects, will end up in deeper trouble with the FBI. Even when recently, there was a bomb threat to a local mosque, the local FBI took pains to identify the perpetrator as being a quadriplegic and therefore, not a credible threat. However, it was later discovered that the perpetrator was a healthy person who was never investigated by either the FBI or the local Police.

 

FBI officials are routinely seen with Muslims who hesitate to ask hard questions and who act more to please the FBI than they do, to address concerns of the Muslim public. Not that pleasing the FBI officials is necessarily a bad thing, but to do so while ignoring what the officials are continuing to do against Muslims, reduces their own credibility among Muslims and thus, makes for less effective contacts within the Muslim communities.

My chat with Al Maghrib’s V-P about FBI

Thanks to help from the local  Al Maghrib folks, I was able to contact Sh. Walid Basyouni, Vice-President of Al Maghrib. We had a fairly thorough talk, but in the end, we did not come to any agreement over the honor Al Maghrib is according to the FBI at Ilmfest in Seattle.

When we first started to talk Mr. Basyouni said he wished I had talked to him before I had sent out the general e-mail about Al Maghrib inviting the FBI to Ilmfest Seattle. I told him I did send an e-mail to Al Maghrib asking for Mr. Basyouni to call me but I received no response so I opened the topic to everyone. My point was that as long as the FBI does not trust or respect Muslims and as long as the FBI considers Muslims to be either targets or a path to targets, we cannot offer them opportunities that make it look as if we trust them and we cannot give them opportunities to influence our youth and our impressionable adults. No doubt any such opportunity will be used to turn Muslims into informants or collaborators against other Muslims whose innocence is only a bump on the road for the FBI.

Ilmfest 2015…Muslims & FBI; a dysfunctional relationship

The Al-Maghrib organization has scheduled Ilmfest 2015 to be held in Bellevue on January 11th. I was looking forward to it, thinking of attending and learning from the many male and female speakers presenting at the “Ilmfest” (“knowledgefest”). Then I learnt some more about the “Ilmfest”; the FBI is invited to speak about youth and gangs at this conference where they expect about 1500+ Muslims to attend. Interestingly, the fact that the FBI is invited to speak at the conference seems to have been kept out of their published program for ilmfest 2015.
