When the Nice attack was first announce, I am sure I was joined by almost every Muslim in silent prayers that the killer would not be a Muslim but alas, he was! At today’s count, 84 people…men, women and children, were killed and over 200 injured.
Who even thinks of wreaking such havoc on innocent people who are out simply enjoying life? The roots of such actions are easy to track even though the answer to the “why” of such actions is much more difficult; the responsibility is shared between the US, the European countries and the Muslims living in the US and Europe, perhaps in equal measure. I was among the community members invited to a meeting with the Seattle Police (SPD…Chief O’Toole present), FBI and Fusion Center (FC…Director, Lt. Trowbridge present) on Tuesday the 3rd of May from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event was called, “Building Communities of Trust“, there were about six of us Muslims present, the rest were from other groups and communities. The purpose was to introduce and promote the Nationwide SAR (Suspicious Activity Reporting) Initiative also known as the NSI, among the various communities. Part of this program is also the “If you see something, say something” program. Continue reading
- US bid to revoke citizenship of Portland mosque’s imam is rare move Agents of the FBI and U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement investigated Kariye’s travels and associations, discovering that he had direct dealings with Osama bin Laden during the war in Afghanistan and an Islamic group, Maktab Al-Khidamat, which the U.S. now describes as a defunct terrorist organization. Kariye is a plaintiff in a lawsuit that accuses the FBI and its Terrorist Screening Center of violating the constitutional rights of several people placed on the U.S. no-fly list.

FBI’s War on Muslims Must End
Dear Director Comey,
For some strange reason, it appears that the FBI is focused on Muslims either as targets or, as paths to targets among Muslims in America. It appears to us that when it comes to targeting Muslims, the FBI is most dedicated in its work, but when it comes to looking after the interests of Muslims in America, the FBI is usually found leading the back of the parade.
Muslims are often targeted, coerced or, blackmailed into becoming “informants” who, if they don’t provide lists of suspects, will end up in deeper trouble with the FBI. Even when recently, there was a bomb threat to a local mosque, the local FBI took pains to identify the perpetrator as being a quadriplegic and therefore, not a credible threat. However, it was later discovered that the perpetrator was a healthy person who was never investigated by either the FBI or the local Police.
FBI officials are routinely seen with Muslims who hesitate to ask hard questions and who act more to please the FBI than they do, to address concerns of the Muslim public. Not that pleasing the FBI officials is necessarily a bad thing, but to do so while ignoring what the officials are continuing to do against Muslims, reduces their own credibility among Muslims and thus, makes for less effective contacts within the Muslim communities. Recently a man entered the Jewish Museum in Brussels and opened fire killing three and injuring one before he fled. He was later captured in Paris and discovered to be a French Muslim, he was carrying ammunition for a Kalashnikov “and a white cloth with Arabic writing on it“, among other things.
France jumped into action, arresting Muslims who planned to travel to Syria or to any country even close to Syria, believing that these people are looking to fight in Syria and if they survive, they would return to Europe and become trained mass killers…”Jihadis” is the convenient, if misleading term.
The main fact here, that fired the imaginations of most, if not every Westerner, is that the man is a Muslim. That fact alone informs the West and Jews especially, that Muslims are out to get them and Muslims will not rest as long as there are “Unbelievers” alive.
What a load of rubbish! Continue reading

Dear Director Comey,
It was with envy and more than a little dismay, that I read the text of your speech at the ADL National Leadership Summit in Washington, DC.,
Envy because a minority group is so well-organized that people of all stripes and ranks visit them and talk at their meetings while heaping praise on the minority group’s works. As a Muslim, I am quite envious of the respect you gave to the ADL, because we haven’t even had the FBI give so much as the time of day to CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations), the only effective Muslim organization that looks after our civil rights. Please note, I am not a member of CAIR, but it has my wholehearted support..
To be sure, there are back-door approaches between the FBI and CAIR but that is demeaning to us Muslims. Rather like the old days when Blacks were met at the back door, while Continue reading
Well, the bus ads saga continues and with it, the disappointment and the damage of trust with the FBI grows.
It appears that the FBI is unable or unwilling to get us a straight story and it also appears that the FBI is working hard to divide Muslim up so that one groups lack of dissent can be used against another group’s vigorous dissent.
We are told that the ad-campaign including the objectionable bus ad, is all controlled by the people in the Justice Department, specifically, RewardsForJustice (RFJ) program. Having spoken with the folks at RFJ, I was told in absolutely clear terms that the program was being funded by RFJ, but they had no input in it and it is completely a local Seattle FBI/JTTF program. Even the posters carry an e-signature that identifies them as “Seattle-JTTF Campaign”.
The FBI keeps telling me that they had in fact, discussed it with various members of the Muslim leadership. A few of the people I checked this out with told me they were informed of the program in May but Continue reading
