The Feds go Muslim-bashing

Muslim-bashing has become so much a part of Law Enforcement training and accepted by a bigotry-driven government that nobody seems to care, mind or even think about what might be wrong with a bigotry-promoting message.

The local Seattle FBI and the local Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTFF) received funds from a Fatherland Security program called “Rewards for Justice”, to launch a public-awareness campaign against terrorism so, what do they do?

Check out the local buses and you will see the ad below on its sides, 16 pictures of “trrrrts” who all look to the layman and the ultra-patriotic bigot, as “Muzlems“. I can just picture the local (National?) bigotry community, the Hate-Islam radio hosts, the right-wing-nut Tea Party membership and the Republican Party membership who love America so much that they are willing to destroy all “Muzlems” from Amerika; I can just picture them chortling with delight because their position that Muslim are America’s greatest threat, has been underscored by the Feds.

Lock and load boys! Let’s make ‘merca safe!” This will be their rallying call.

Seattle JTTF campaign

The JTFF is not known for its tolerant position towards Muslims, I know at least one member, a detective from the Seattle Police Department Continue reading

Bilal Philips and Innovations (Christmas etc.,) in Islam

Normally, when I receive an e-mail with a link and “Must See!!!”, without any further explanations, I delete it because I do not have the time to check it out to see if the link will actually lead me to an interesting site where I might learn something. I figure if the sender does not have the time to explain what s-he is sending, then it is not worth my time to read it either.

This time, I received an e-mail saying, ” Innovation in the Religion -‘Christmas’,  Birthdays’“. Inside was a comment:

Here is one of many Lectures provided by Sheik, Dr. Bilal Philips, on the topic of Innovations in our Religion

“Innovation” as used in Islam, is a re-designing of the religion in a way that is different from the Quran. I had to learn more…

With Christmas approaching, I was once again, seeing opinions flying around that it is “Haram” (forbidden) to celebrate Christmas or, even to respond to someone’s “Merry Christmas”. Not just Haram, it is actually a rejection of Islam to do so!

I also wanted to see what was being identified as “innovation in our religion (Islam)”. Continue reading

Please Retire Your Copy of “THE NOBLE QURAN”

I have seen about a dozen different English translations of the Quran and have many of them. While they each differ slightly because of individual translator differences, the differences are minor nuances and keep faithfully to the original Arabic, which is alongside all of them, except one which is entirely in English.

One of the earlier and more popular English translations of the Quran is the version by Marmaduke Pickthall, is is pretty good except it is in old English with too many “Thee” and “Thou”, “maketh” and “shouldst” so it is not an easy read.
Other versions are pretty easy to read and understand and as I said, they all keep to the same message even when they sometimes, use different words.

All except for “THE NOBLE QURAN”, by Al-Hilali and Muhsin Khan with its diabolical translations. Continue reading

If I were giving the Khutba (Sermon) today….

Normally, I am not the person who would lead prayers or, deliver a khutba (Friday Sermon), although I did give a brief khutba once. That was when US Air kicked some Muslims off their plane because some bigoted passenger voiced a “concern” about “Muzlems” being on the plane. I called for a Muslim assembly at Seatac Airport where we would hold our Friday prayer in front of the US Air counters in protest against their corporate bigotry against Muslims. Notably, less than a dozen Muslims felt motivated enough to show up for the congregational prayer at the airport that day, most of them from one family!

Today being Friday, I wish I were giving the khutba!
  • If I were giving the khutba today, I would talk about the killing of the Sikhs in their Gurudwara (Temple). Continue reading

Jafar Siddiqui’s Primary Elections List

I offer a list of electoral candidates that we support, after the list, there will be an explanation for reasons why. Note: Since these are Primary Elections, we will be willing to give the benefit of the doubt to candidates who have been asked, but have not yet signed The Pledge. We will take a much stronger position in the General Elections, against people who fail to sign The Pledge.

To begin with, Muslims have the same concerns as non-Muslims in choosing our political leaders…with one difference, we want to feel secure in this country. For Muslims, personal security, free from the prodding and persecutions that have beset us since 9-11, is probably the single overriding concern. We wish to be able to pursue our lives with the comfort and knowledge that we are going to be treated as equals in this country of equals and that we will be accorded the same rights and the same equal protections under the constitution, that are enjoyed by our fellow (non-Muslim) Americans.

Unfortunately, this is not so today… Continue reading

Ramadan and Fasting…care to try it?

First Published August 24, 2008

This year, the Muslim month of Ramadan in the year 1433, begins on Friday, July 20 th  2012 .  The Quran was first revealed to the Prophet Mohammed during this, the ninth month of the Muslim Lunar calendar, making it the holiest month for Muslims.

Ramadan is also one of four sacred months of the Muslim calendar, during which any form of warfare is forbidden (Quran 9:36). This is the month for not only physical, but even more importantly, spiritual cleansing for Muslims. Continue reading

Brutal occupation in Kashmir, who gives a damn?

Dr. Fai (see his letter at the bottom) has been jailed for supporting the free Kashmir movement (a “Trrrrst” organization).
This is typical of US hypocrisy that is driven by short-term goals and by who is more involved in influence and voting in the US. Thus, in Israel-Palestine, the Israeli Jews are the angels while the Palestinians (Israeli or OT) are the devils; in Indo-Pak, India is presumed to “own” Kashmir and Indians are the angels, while the Pakistanis and the Kashmiris are the “trrrrsts” and the devils. So it continues, Bahrain, Iraq, Iran, anytime one wants to see where the US support is going in a conflict, just look for which side the US is supporting…and one will also know which side is actually in the wrong…the US-supported side.

I received the letter from Dr. Fai in which he also gives his mailing address and I sent him a brief letter of support in the mail, Continue reading

Rob McKenna Signs Pledge to Protect Muslims!

Congratulations to Rob for joining the family of REAL Americans, who care that every person is equal in this country! Now we can judge Rob on merits other than the unasked question, “Is he among those who hate us Muslims too?”
  • I, ___Rob McKenna___ do affirm my belief that all people under the jurisdiction of the United States, have the right to equal protection under the constitution of the United States, including Arabs and Muslims. Continue reading

Here we go again…the inevitable “Muzlem Trrrrrsts!”

The week opened on Monday the 25th to another spine-chilling story ofMuzlems“, getting ready to kill masses of Freedom-loving Americans and I groaned for the umpteenth time!

Our ever-vigilant FBI has, it appears, conducted over a hundred investigations into Islamic extremists in the military…our military, can you imagine that? Er, sorry, that is suspected Islamic extremists in the military. There is a difference, you see. REAL extremists can be brought to trial and jailed, but suspected ones, simply get their lives destroyed with an investigation that might as well hang them afterwards; REAL Muslim extremists are hard to find, while suspected ones are everywhere!
The FBI’s attitude towards Islam and Muslims goes back to their training in which their focus was drawn to the fact that there were over 9000 (murderous) Muslims in the military. The FBI has been trained to target Islam, not terrorism. Continue reading
