Happy Independence Day
Happy Independence Day, my fellow Americans!
Today is the day when the British yoke was lifted off one of The Empire’s colonies and America began its journey to becoming the pre-eminent nation among all nations. Today was when the British Empire approached its zenith (Q: Why did the sun never set on the British Empire? A: because even God did not trust the English in the dark).
American started with great principles, the Declaration of Independence listed a host of grievances that forced the oppressed colonists to break away from their distanced King. In 1787, the new nation put together a constitution to provide the framework within which their ideal state wads to operate. Two years later, The Bill of Rights (originally ten articles) was adopted into the constitution, providing for the rights of everyone in the United States. Over time, more articles were added until the last one so far (Article 22), was added in 1992.
Wonderful as the constitution is, the country is not without its controversies and contradictions. Continue reading
The US; A Terrorist State and Sponsor of Terrorism?
Maybe I am just imagining that the US is targeting Muslims…
Or, why Muslims need to wake up…
A lot of people have told me to “tone it down”, not sound so “anti-American” and asked me why I hate America so much that I keep criticizing it and if I do hate America so much, why don’t I “go back where I came from”? I have even been accused of supporting and inciting terrorism (but when I consider the source and intelligence of those criticisms, I suppose I shouldn’t mind too much).
Fair enough.
Maybe I AM imagining that the US is geared up to target Muslims and maybe things are not so bad after all.
The again, maybe the Tooth Fairy is leaving gold coins in exchange for teeth these days too.

Murder of Anwar Al-Awlaki; Slaughter of the Constitution
President Barak Obama grandly announced that a CIA drone attack had killed Anwar Al-Awlaki in Yemen along with Samir Khan, the editor of his website. “This is further proof that al Qaeda and its affiliates will have no safe haven anywhere in the world,” Obama said. The Press dutifully reported the announcement, some joined in the celebrations of having gotten another terrorist but nobody questioned the methodology that resulted in ending not one, but TWO American citizens’ lives.
Who cares? We got another one! Someone should care, certainly I do.
