Is America Supporting or Fighting, ISIS?

In some ways, ISIS should be admired. They have clear goals, they want to take over all the M-E and then go for the rest of the world. They want to destroy everything that does not comport with their version of Islam and they want to kill everyone who is not a part of their misguided faith and that particularly includes America.
We can all agree ISIS are vile, despicable examples of humanity, but we also have to admire their clarity of thought.
American on the other hand, says so many things from so many sides of its collective mouth, that no clear policy can ever come out of DC. America hates Al-Qaeda and its further-to-the-right off-shoot, Al-Nusra and will do everything to destroy them. The US is also completely against ISIS and wants to destroy them. The US wants to be trusted by its Muslim citizens who should feel considered and protected, by its agencies.
That’s the America P-R, the American reality is quite different and beyond comprehension of any but the invisible puppet-masters who direct US policy. As anyone can figure, the policies are driven by the moneyed folk because even our Supreme Court has allowed corporations to spend unlimited amounts of money for political campaigns…so who is the politician going to listen to?
The latest story of the American snake eating its own tail is located in the Arabia Peninsula.

The Rapid Growth of Islamic Fanatics

Once upon a time, there was peace in the world. Well, peace in so far as Mankind is capable of peace so, perhaps it would be better to rephrase that opening line by saying, “Once upon a time, the world was not in flames”. There were dictators who obeyed the Super-powers that brought the dictators to power and there were super-powers who fought covert wars between themselves, being careful to use proxy fighters and none of their own; such policies are protected by the Doctrine of Plausible Deniability where everyone knows what happened and who did it, but there are no red-handed representatives of the “other” to blame and thus, open war could be avoided.

So yes, once upon a time there was a relative peace of sorts, in this world. Dictators made sure they could stay in power and they did so with the help of the super-powers, chiefly the USA and the Soviet Union. The dictators had a little interest in helping their own tribal people, but only because that is where they could most be assured of loyalty and continue in power. If one group decided to start a hate-campaign against another on grounds of ethnic, religious or, sectarian lines, the dictator would squash that group until there were no more upstarts. Free speech was irrelevant but by and large, people were free to follow their desires as long as the Dictator’s boat was not rocked. Continue reading

ISIS beheadings…Bad….WHY??

Although I personally believe ISIS is evil, evil itself, has never been a standard for the US or for the West, to wage war on anyone, we all know that the US is fighting ISIS because ISIS is against the US, otherwise, “we could do business with ISIS“. History is full of incredibly EVIL leaders that the US and Western empires have place at the necks of people in order to strengthen their own control, we ourselves, are not innocent of much brutality…in the past and now.

Obama’s Speech: Should Muslims Fear ISIS or The US?

Muh Fell’ ‘Mericans!
Okay, so his enunciation was better, did many others pay same attention to what was said, how it was said and what it could mean for us Muslims?
His speech was brief but ominous, I thought. He started by talking about Al Qaeda and how the US succeeded in “taking out” much of Al Q leadership.
Yes, but at what cost to the people of those countries where they struck out at anything that moved, butchered dozens and sometimes, hundreds of people merely on “suspicion” that they were “militants or insurgents”? These victims including women and children. It would be no exaggeration to conclude that at least tens of thousands of people have been deliberately killed because of America’s zeal to “eliminate” suspects! Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud was finally killed in 2009, after 29 attempts to kill him. Twenty-eight attempts in which everyone in the vicinity where he was suspected to be, was murdered…except Baitullah Mehsud. But that doesn’t matter, does it? The US stopped counting “collateral losses” after the stink grew too much…shortly after bringing democracy to Afghanistan. The US then redefined “Radical/insurgent/terrorist” to include anyone who may be in the same location as the “suspects” because (the US said), nobody had any business being close to a suspect unless they were participating in the same activities. Bingo! collateral losses went down to zero immediately.
