Biden AND Harris?? Should I vote?

Bottom-line; I will be voting for the Democratic team.

 

But oh, the Sanders-Warren team would have been dynamite and exactly what this country needs to get out of the selfish rut that we are stuck in. Biden is not expected to make any significant changes in crucial areas such as reductions in Defense expenditures. Other issues such as environmental protections, gun controls, introductions of universal healthcare, free education through Bachelor’s programs, food support, shelter support and living support that all European countries have had since after WWII. Biden’s paymasters will not permit that.

The most we can hope for, from Biden, would be a roll-back of the destructive changes made by the Republicans under Trump which alone, would be a major accomplishment.

Human Impact of Coronavirus

We are being led by a heartless idiot followed by a nation of Republicans who are selfish, deliberately ignorant, people and seem to care more about their guns than they do about the pandemic running through the country or, for the people. You cannot shoot your way through Coronavirus.

This country does not even have the capacity to send a couple of hundred test kits to the Life Care Center of Kirkland, where most of Washington State’s deaths have occurred yet here we are, the Trump Administration is bent on CUTTING the budget for the Center for Disease Control.

The Coronavirus pandemic has not even really touched the US so far and already this nation is practically at a halt. People are not flying, they are not going on vacations and gatherings of over 250 people have been banned in WA State (doctors recommend gatherings of no more than 10). In short, money is not being spent. Sure, this hurts the larger companies; airlines, hotels etc., but the unseen, unrecognized majority who are being hurt by this are those who do not make a lot of money.

Criticize the US? GET OUT!!

Well…it appears that the only people who have the RIGHT to live in the US are those who are not “Socialists” or, “Communists”; only the people who “Support the troops and respect the flag”. Plus, “The Four” congresswomen represent “The dark underbelly of America”. These are the words and sentiments of White House Counsellor Kellyanne Conway on (where else?) Fox “News”. Trump said they should “Go back to their own countries”. All four are US citizens, three were born in this country, one was born in Somalia and came here when she was just a child.

I guess the only ones who belong here and whose country this is, are White “Judeo-Christians”. The rest of us citizens are here at White sufferance; to be evicted or persecuted whenever they disapprove of what we say or do.

Banned by FB; Hate against Jews and Muslims

Well, I was locked out of FB for three days because after the summary beheading of 37 people and further crucifixion of six, I associated the House of Saud and their followers with a certain animal that Muslims and Jews don’t eat but Christians do.

It is interesting that my comments were deemed “Hate-Speech” but people are left free to hurl all kinds of insults at Islam and Muslims.

Lesson learnt; don’t be too specific in things that can be misconstrued.

On the subject of hate; over the past few days we have had one man who drove his car into a group of people he thought, were Muslims. We have also had another person who decided to strike against Amerika’s interests by shooting up a Synagogue.

Slaughtering Muslims the “Civilized Way”

The attacks on Muslims by Trump the Republican Party have echoes in the past and recent tragedies. This time, Rep Ilhan Omar is being used as the starting point for greater levels of Islamophobia.

Hitler worked on the Germans to launch his “Final Solution” against (mostly) Jews and slaughtered millions before he was stopped by Germany’s defeat. It is noteworthy that Germans were forced into silence, acquiescence or support. The “Allies” were not interested in stopping the extermination, they were interested in maintaining their empires without the growing threat of the Japan-Germany alliance.

Muslim Bomber suspect arrested in Florida!!

“Authorities say they arrested a Muslim bomber who appears to have been living in Florida and was associated with the Mosque there“.

Oh, how everyone (but Muslims) would celebrate the “capture” of yet another ‘Muzlem‘ out to destroy the US and the West!Certainly, the Republicans The Party of Hate and Fear), Trump and his Cabinet minions would be clapping until the cows come home, they would be referring to him as “Muslim Bomber” or, “Muslim Terrorist” and they would be linking him to all kinds of other Muslim groups.

Sadly, it turns out that the man is a Trump-supporting Republican. I am betting nobody will refer to him as a “Terrorist”, not even the spineless Democrats. Democrats will also not say anything connecting the Trump Bomber to the Republicans because there IS honor among thieves. Already, “the authorities” are referring to him as “quite possibly a lone wolf, working on his own”. I will probably grow old and die before anyone calls him “The Republican Bomber” or, “The Trump-supporter Bomber”.

Here’s another interesting point, the Seminole tribe of Florida, has disavowed him, saying he is not and was not, a member of the tribe and I am sure everyone will take this disavowal as God’s own Truth. Yet, when MUSLIMS disavow a bomber or a killer who happens to be Muslim, we Muslims are accused of lying to protect themselves. Republicans have already disavowed the man saying his actions do not reflect the principles of the Republican Party and that too, is perfectly acceptable to the world at large (I believe has EXACTLY in line with the desires of the Republican Party). Yet again, Muslims can disavow violent criminals until they are collectively blue in the face but will anyone believe us? Hell, NO!

Once again, we find the FBI, ATF, Police, Congress and the White House are all marching in lock goose-step to protect their own White, “Judeo-Christians” with absolutely never a regard for “The cult of Islam”, the Trump-supporting Terrorist will be gone from the media attention faster than yesterday’s dust from a porch.

We Muslims can heave a collective sigh of relief but beware, the next time a “Muzlem” spits on the sidewalk, “they” will be screaming for our heads.

Waters of Hate are rising, who will stop them?

Those who ignore the lessons of History (and current events), are destined to repeat History.

It is growing in the US and in the West, the hate-mongering against Islam, Arabs and Muslims is growing to greater and greater violence. Even US Agencies such as Police, FBI, ATF, ICE and others, even the White House, the Cabinet, Congress … even the military, are getting further and further dedicated towards Islamophobia.

 

We, the people of ALL faiths, need to actively stand and reject ALL aspects of hate, whether it is against Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus…against anyone because the dogs of hate are strong and demonic; once they are unleashed against one group, they will tear at everyone. This phenomenon is growing EVERYWHERE, not just in the US and the West against Muslims. We see it from the Philippines, to Myanmar, to India, to Pakistan, to Iraq, Syria, Israel…everywhere and the world bodies stand gutlessly and silently because it is happening to “them” or, our friends are involved in the genocide.

Kill all Muslims…and why not?

When leaders speak or promote hate speech, they embolden the existing bigots and they recruit the undecided-and-ignorant, to the ranks of Hate. This emboldens more people to join the hate-noise and before we realize it, Hate, anger and violence become accepted norms that are then available to be aimed at targeted communities, Muslims, in today’s world.

Today, we have the Chief Executive of the United States promoting hate against Muslims. Trump has tried to pass across-the-board ban against Muslims coming to the US from Muslim-majority countries (he has said Christians from the same countries would be okay), he has regularly said things against Muslims (“Islam hates us”) and today, he forwarded a Tweet from a British anti-Muslim hate-monger.

Trumps’ Speech on Afghanistan…and Pakistan

Yes, Donald Trump, the President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief of its overwhelming military decided to give a speech on Afghanistan. I would give it zero points for a well thought-out plan and full points for high rhetoric, bluster, fake bravado and other brave-appearing but meaningless, sounds.

Let’s take a closer look…

• “Love for America requires love for all of its people. When we open our hearts to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice, no place for bigotry, and no tolerance for hate.”

Unless of course, we talk about MUSLIMS who do not deserve any protections against prejudice, bigotry or, hate. Note that most naïve Muslims are still sitting out there waiting and hoping that Trump will condemn the bombing of the Mosque in Bloomington, Minnesota; they have a long wait in front of them.

Muslims in the Trump Era

President Trump. Who would have thunk this could happen?

I have had a few people making contact with me, telling me to keep my mouth shut and my e-pen turned off, even someone very dear to me said so. I am not sure if even a dozen people read my thoughts, but shared with even them, it is a victory. Muslims…ALL of us, urgently need to bring awareness and resistance to the political bigots and their coward colleagues and kick them out of office if that is what it takes. ALL of us need to make sure our political leaders are hit with questions like, “What are you doing against bigotry in this country? If every year, the politicians signed on the NDAA whose Section 1021 directly targets Muslims for “detention” without trial or charges…forever… then they are doing nothing, nothing at all.
