The duty to protest…
CAIR (Council for American Islamic Relations (USA) alerted me to a story exposing the Islamophobic library of the US Marine Corps. After reading it, I decided to write my own letter to the Secretary of Defense and the Commandant of US Marines (see below). Note the stamps I use on this letter, they all carry an important message.
It is not enough to have an organization take on the fight, we, all of us, Muslim or not, must get off our duffs and add our voices to the protest against Humanity that we see regardless of who the victim may be at the time. Our silence not only marks us a cowards, it also lowers the importance of the fight any organization is picking up on our behalf. Then again, if we do not speak when the targets are others, who will speak for us? Sadly for us Muslims, it is only going to get worse and worse so the time to lend our voices is now. Working Together & Current Issues
Following the increase of hate-activities, we called a meeting of people who may be influential within their groups and communities at the Bellevue library. It was first estimated that about 6-8 people might come but then indications were that we may get as many as 80-100. As it turned out, there were eight of us present.
While we are surrounded by bad news of hate-mongers taking advantage of every opportunity to whip up anti-immigrant hysteria with the violence aimed at Muslims, there are also some very encouraging indicators around us if we take some time to look and reflect. Continue reading

To the FBI Director: Concerning Muslims
April 30th, 2014
Director James B. Comey
FBI Headquarters
935 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, D.C. 20535-0001
Dear Director Comey,
It was with envy and more than a little dismay, that I read the text of your speech at the ADL National Leadership Summit in Washington, DC.,
Envy because a minority group is so well-organized that people of all stripes and ranks visit them and talk at their meetings while heaping praise on the minority group’s works. As a Muslim, I am quite envious of the respect you gave to the ADL, because we haven’t even had the FBI give so much as the time of day to CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations), the only effective Muslim organization that looks after our civil rights. Please note, I am not a member of CAIR, but it has my wholehearted support..
To be sure, there are back-door approaches between the FBI and CAIR but that is demeaning to us Muslims. Rather like the old days when Blacks were met at the back door, while Continue reading

Muslims, Mosques & the Myth of “Due Process” of the Law
Far too many people are under the misguided impression that Justice and the Law, are one and the same, just as many people are also under the illusion that the United States has a constitution that protects us all with equal justice, that we WILL have our day in court and if innocent, nothing can happen to us.
These people are in the same class of children who desperately cling to believing in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy.
What is prompting this message? Continue reading
Trust, the FBI and Muslims…
Well, the bus ads saga continues and with it, the disappointment and the damage of trust with the FBI grows.
It appears that the FBI is unable or unwilling to get us a straight story and it also appears that the FBI is working hard to divide Muslim up so that one groups lack of dissent can be used against another group’s vigorous dissent.
We are told that the ad-campaign including the objectionable bus ad, is all controlled by the people in the Justice Department, specifically, RewardsForJustice (RFJ) program. Having spoken with the folks at RFJ, I was told in absolutely clear terms that the program was being funded by RFJ, but they had no input in it and it is completely a local Seattle FBI/JTTF program. Even the posters carry an e-signature that identifies them as “Seattle-JTTF Campaign”.
The FBI keeps telling me that they had in fact, discussed it with various members of the Muslim leadership. A few of the people I checked this out with told me they were informed of the program in May but Continue reading
US Anti-Muslim Activities; Working With Congress
Below is the cover letter I sent to the members of the House Congressional Asia Pacific American Caucus, along with an overview of the documents that I included in the CD that went with the letter..
The plan is to get members of congress aware of the hostile climate created against Islam and Muslims with funding from the Federal Government and with luck, they will then start inquiries as to why our government should be so deeply involved in creating and promoting hate against their own citizens.
Muslims should be paying attention to the hate being cultivated against them and should be thinking of collective actions against such hate. tragically, what divides us (sectarianism and apathy) appears to be stronger than what should be bringing us closer (anti-Muslim hate-promotion). My trip to Lobby Congress
Muslims Were Less Violent in 2012
Imagine reports from prestigious institutions that are headed:
“Blacks are less sub-human and less prone to mindless violence in 2012“.
Heads would roll all over the country and the outrage would not subside probably for decades.
However, we get a report headed:
“American Muslim Terrorism: Declining Further”
Yawn…!
“And the Triangle study (below) tracks indictments, not convictions. ”
I believe it is important to keep in mind that our “War!” against “trrrrsm” is aimed at Muslims and has nothing to do with actual violence against a civilian population; if this report showed ZERO accusations of terrorism, the US and the West, would still be on a bender against Muslim “trrrrsts” because Continue reading
