Targeting of Muslims has begun, it started with a sweeping ban on everyone from seven Muslim-majority countries (Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen). Then it was drawn back to be a ban on all refugees from those countries, then “Extreme Vetting of people from these countries; all in order to stop ALL “Islamic Terrorism” of course! Presumably, terrorism by non-Muslims may continue because it is more palatable. Muslims are being harassed at US entry points (yes, even more than ever before) and some have even been pressured into signing a renunciation of their Permanent Resident status.
Let just allow that the Trump administration and his equally Muslim-hating cabinet are really concerned about “Terrorism”. The term they used was “Islamic Terrorism” which means Muslims. Continue reading
Recently a friend expressed surprise when I mentioned that Obama holds weekly meetings at which he signs off on a “Kill List” of suspects…regardless of “Collateral Losses” (non-combatants, women, children). I conducted a search and came up with many links but I thought these three below, should be shared with all.
This thought has crossed many a young mind and some have even turned it into action and why not? These young Muslims have only experienced fear of Islam and Muslims in this, their own country. They have seen the Police and the FBI turn and persecute Muslims only because of their faith and they have seen politicians bash Islam and Muslims and actually inch closer to success because of their hate-mongering. Many Churches and Synagogues, supposedly houses of God where the only thing to be preached is love of God and His creation, seem to have taken it upon themselves to promote fear of Islam and Muslims.
“Maybe this is not my country”, thinks the young, passionate and emotional man and woman. “Maybe, if they hate Islam and Muslims so much, I don’t belong here but over there, where these “Kuffar” (Unbelievers) are busy killing more Muslims. Maybe I should go help in the Jihad against these infidels and get them out of our lands. So what if I should die? I will be a Shaheed, a Martyr and God will allow me to go to Heaven for defending my faith” Continue reading
United Muslims of WA is a new group formed to try and bring the various Muslim communities and schools of thought together so that we can learn from each other and love each other (Quran 5:48). Our goal is to bring the different schools of thought (sects) together in spite of our differences and to address issues of common concerns such as discrimination against and persecutions of, Muslims.
Below is the resolution of condemnation of a viciously anti-Shia alliance of religious and political leaders of Indonesia whose recent meeting and call to destroy Shia belief “by all means necessary” is no less than a call to genocide which has the potential of spreading worldwide.
The copy of the resolution is followed by copies of letters mailed to the President of the United States and the President of Indonesia. Similar letters were also mailed to the Secretary-General of the UN and the Indonesian Ambassador to the US.

President Barack Hussein Obama

Washington, DC 20500
May 5th, 2014
Dear Mr. President,
On April 30th 2014, members of the United Muslims of Washington issued a statement of condemnation of the “Anti-Shia Alliance” conference in Indonesia. This is a particularly dangerous because it has the blessing of major Muslim organizations in Indonesia, the participation and encouragement of the Governor of West Java and the encouragement because of their inaction, by the Government of Indonesia. In effect, this creates an atmosphere of the pre-genocide days of Rwanda except that this call to destroy Shia Muslims has the prospect of spreading throughout the world. Continue reading
Below is the cover letter I sent to the members of the House Congressional Asia Pacific American Caucus, along with an overview of the documents that I included in the CD that went with the letter..
The plan is to get members of congress aware of the hostile climate created against Islam and Muslims with funding from the Federal Government and with luck, they will then start inquiries as to why our government should be so deeply involved in creating and promoting hate against their own citizens.
Muslims should be paying attention to the hate being cultivated against them and should be thinking of collective actions against such hate. tragically, what divides us (sectarianism and apathy) appears to be stronger than what should be bringing us closer (anti-Muslim hate-promotion). A few days ago, some people sent out e-mails amongst Muslims, with a link to a WIRED magazine article headed, “Report: U.S. Muslim Terrorism Was Practically Nil in 2012“. Accompanying comments noted how Muslims were really not violent despite current perceptions. The e-mails did nothing to please me because I saw that the focus was still on us Muslims. To me it should not be a matter of note if Muslims were less violent than expected; a matter of general note should be the state of terrorism or, of violence across the board, without a “Muzlem” sub-category…and no other faith sub-category.
